How many persons will come to my wedding and provide service?

This is all dependent on the size of your bridal party and if your party requires a la carte services or package service (both hair & makeup). Generally it is anywhere from 1 – 3 persons. If your party has 6 or less services, 1 artist is required. This information along with your itinerary will be provided to you with your quote.

How long should a trial take?

A trial can take 2 – 3 hours but 3 hours are booked if 1 artist is coming and 1.5 if 2 are coming. During the trial your stylist(s) will chat with you and spend some time understanding your skin and hair. They can determine things such as appropriate heat temperature for your hair, length of time to curl, how your hair holds the curl, if your skin has a high absorbancy to makeup, which colors best suit you and etc. Your vision photos will be reviewed to establish your likes from each photo, and a custom look created.

Will my makeup and hair application take 3 hrs on the day of my wedding?

No, the results of the trial will help your stylist so they can create your look without issues within anywhere from 1 hours with a team of 2 working simultaneously or 1.5 hours with just your trial stylist.

How much time is allotted for each member of my bridal party?

We generally book in 45 to 50 mins per hair and per makeup per bridal/guest party member. The bride/host/talent will book in for 1 hour with a team of 2, or 1.5 to 2 hrs minutes; based on looks complexity; with 1 artist creating her look.

Will I have the same artist as my trial artist?

Yes,your assigned Team Lead will come for your trial from the Tier/package you have booked.

Where are the trials held?

You have 2 options, at our Makeup and Hair studio in Whitby. For your convenience we can come to you at your location. An on location session mobile fee applies on a per km basis for each crew member

How do we make payments?

Your payments will be made via credit card using our payment system; a 3% surcharge applies; or via email transfer, the better option to avoid any surcharge.

How early in advance should I book?

It’s best to book at least 6 months in advance minimum, especially for those with wedding dates in the spring & summer months as they are the busiest and book VERY quickly anywhere from 18 months in advance. Booking earlier means securing the best vendors.

July through till September is the busiest time of the year for all Bridal vendors. May and June are quite busy due to High School Graduation  as well all long weekend dates require early booking of up to 6 – 8 months to guarantee your date.

Do you have a minimum booking policy?

For in studio appointments, no. For mobile to you, yes. Due to our high booking rate we have a 6 services minimum policy June through to September, 4 services October through to May 31rst, just the bride is okay from Pickering to Bowmanville January to May 1rst . For out of region bookings there is a 12 services minimum.

How much of  a deposit do I need to make?

Most of our clients book firm with a 50% reservation deposit. You may book tentatively with your trial payment only. Your trial must occur in a 3 week window, as the max time we are able to put the artists schedules on hold, as is their policy. A tentative booking is not firm until the deposit has been made at the end of the trial. You must make your payment at the end of the trial to secure your reservation, otherwise our automated system will release your date. Should someone wish to book in firm, dates will go to brides who wish to reserve firmly. Should this occur before your trial, your trial deposit will be returned to you in full.

What are the differences in the Tiers of artists?

They vary by expertise, knowledge, skill set, experience. Please review our pricing page and scroll down, to thoroughly read the differences.

Can I book a high Tier and my party a lower Tier?

To send any artist from any Tier, they require the minimum srvice policy to be met. An artist will not attend an event for 1 client, and the other artist(s) attend for multiples. To be fair, and to meet their requirements, a mixed Tier booking means 4 plus services for any one artist.

Is there a fee to book more than one artist?

Your event will be assigned 1 or 2 artists, based on how many services are booked. Generally 2 artists can complete 8 woman in 6 hour apt. IE: 8 – 2 pm for a 3:30 pm wedding. If you wish to  shorten your session, you may hire additional artists at a fee per person.
