Client Services Division ; General Assistant, Customer Service & Sales Rep

Lush Beauty & Bridals Ontario, Southern Ontario’s Sought After bridal beauty vendor & talented team of makeup artists and hairstylists is currently seeking a general assistant to work along side owner and Principal Master Artist. Someone interested in a paid internship with interests in makeup and hair who would like to shadow as well is a bonus.

We are seeking someone who can offer the best Customer Service Experience Sales experience when assisting with bookings. We are looking for someone detail oriented with high standards, proactive, who can multi-task extremely well, creating customer satisfaction and can set our Brides with success. We are looking for someone extremely organized, full of drive, passion and a strong conviction to make a difference in the company. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who thinks outside the box, is friendly and level-headed.

Your day to day duties; NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, FULL PAID TRAINING PROVIDED

You will be assisting with all of the following functions;

• Take incoming calls and provide answers to inquires

• Outbound follow up calls to leads

• assist with bookings

• creates files for new brides

• create calendar events for crew, assist in assigning crew and send out invites to assigned crew,

• add and update information to events

• upload photos to calendar events

• update general calendar and ensure dates are recorded and marked off

• Assist in creating quotes

• assist in closing bookings

• assist in creating contracts

• participate in creative brainstorming

QUALIFICATIONS

• Word, basic excel, customer service, sales an asset, organizationsl skills, computer skills mandatory.

• Must have command of English language, both oral and written.

• good command of the english language on the phones and dealing with client service issues

• Self starter – completely independent once assigned a task and requires ZERO or minimal supervision

• You are obsessed about small details

• You can manage artists and brides requests without missing a beat

• You are great at following up and up-selling

• Customer service experience an asset

• Sales experience an asset

• You are tech-savvy and good at trouble-shooting issues

• You are organized, disciplined

• Must dress and look professional at all times. We are about branding and we wish to work with forward thinking, like minded professionals. We attain to be the best so you must always look special event ready

• Able to work seamlessly in a group, as team and independently for smaller weddings

• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to complete assigned tasks in a reasonable time frame, full training provided.

• Must be responsible, reliable, trustworthy, dependable, punctual and congenial.

• Knowledge of the beauty industry an asset.

• MUST BE Friendly and professional

• Will be expected to participate in team volunteer work periodically. eg: 2/3 times annually.

• Must take instruction and positive critique well.

This is a part time position (approx 20 – 30 hours) with potential to full time.

Your day to day work environment will be quite and easy to relax in as our services are delivered on site to clients preferred location so there is no face to face with clients outside of shadowing (if you opt to do so as it is NOT required). You must possess:

Experience with community management, content creation, social media optimization, and strategic development.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience
